In this 2-hour session, students will receive both lecture and practical instruction on Snapchat search warrant return analysis.
Lecture Objectives:
• Brief overview of Snapchat capabilities
• Understand what files come in Snapchat search warrant returns
• View examples (from a resolved investigation) of paid software capabilities for conversation analysis
In the practical, students will be provided with a sanitized version of the Snapchat conversation table from the investigation referenced in the lecture.
Practical Objective:
• Collate raw data through a guided practical exercise of creating conversation tables using Microsoft Excel
