Hello VCAN Members,
We wanted to share this request from Hampton Analyst Shan Sixbey seeking updates on pay scales in Hampton Roads among the analysts.
Kristin McManus (with Newport News) is assisting in collecting this information and expanded it statewide as this can help when presenting for salary increases with your chain of command.
If you have a moment, consider emailing your responses to [email protected] and [email protected], below are a list of questions to answer regarding analyst positions in your locality:
1. What is the pay scale for analysts in your jurisdiction?
2. Are there different levels for analysts to attain? – new title, increased pay?
3. If so, what are the requirements to reach a new level?
4. Do earning certifications result in increased pay, attainment of a new level, or other recompense?
Kristin is maintaining a spreadsheet and will send out an updated list to all those who respond as well as those who participate in the [email protected] list serve.
