Three suspects shattered the quiet of six suburban cities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area—along with 89 windows—causing more than $200,000 in damage. This presentation details the analysis used to identify the suspects and bring them to justice.

Attendees will gain insight into how GIS, real-time support to detectives using GPS, Call Detail Record (CDR) analysis, and video evidence were leveraged to reconstruct the suspects’ movements and tie them to historical records.

This session will demonstrate how analytical techniques can be applied to minor offenses, serving as a practical training ground and a proving ground for larger, complex investigations.
