This session guides participants through building a multipurpose Excel dashboard using an open-source dataset, emphasizing practical data preparation, visualization, and workflow strategies that support accessible, repeatable, data-informed reporting.

Objectives:
1. Provide foundational understanding of Excel capabilities for dashboard development.
2. Review levels of measurement and the use of descriptive statistics.
3. Demonstrate formulas and techniques for effective data management.
4. Visualize data using pivot tables, charts, and slicers.
5. Promote sustainable, replicable reporting through data dictionaries and reference materials.

This event is free for VCAN members and $10 for non-members. This presentation is open to those in and outside of law enforcement. This presentation will be recorded.
