VCAN Fall Symposium – Call for Presentations
The Virginia Crime Analysis Network is announcing a Call for Presentations for its 2018 Fall Training Symposium held in Richmond, Virginia on Friday, October 12, 2018.. We are accepting proposals for all presentation types with a special interest in:   Case Studies where the analyst has played a pivotal role,   Strategies and/or case studies where analysts have assisted in mass causality incidents,   Social media tips and tricks.   Presenters are welcome to submit proposals for more than one presentation.   What’s in it for you?  
  1. A captive and excited audience of crime analysts, investigators, law enforcement support personnel and students from all corners of Virginia
  2. Waived Symposium registration fee
  3. Lunch on the day of the symposium

  Presentations should be suitable for a classroom setting, for both sworn and non-sworn professionals and be approximately 60 minutes in length. Presenters are welcome to bring a co-presenter, however only one presenter will receive the above described benefits.
